Gump Fiction

Sean Hartis

Percussion/Vocals/Kazoo
Originally from Charlotte North Carolina, Sean started playing drums at age 9 looking up to the likes of Dave Grohl and Jimmy Chambelin to Jhon Bonham and Neil Peart.  After hearing a mix tape in high school containing Tool he was lead to bands like “The Deftones, and Porcupine Tree” leading to a heavier more progressive rhythmic background.  After a stint in New York City Sean is back home both geographically and musically, pounding out the influential hits of his youth!

Doug Kush

Guitars/Vocals/Kazoo
Originally from a small town north of Pittsburgh, PA, lead guitarist Doug Kush has called Charlotte his home for the last 12 years, playing in several bands in the area.  Four years ago, on a night off from gigging, his wife Tara wanted to check out a 90s band, and friendships were formed with the Gump Fiction family.  Today he joins Gump Fiction where he gets to play music from some of his favorite 90s artists, including Third Eye Blind, Matchbox Twenty, Blink 182, and Green Day.  In his spare time, he binge watches Saved By the Bell and crushes on Kelly Kapowski (the adult version, of course).

Nick Loder

Vocals/Guitars/Keys/Percussion/Kazoo
From Blue Ridge, South Carolina, Loder fell in love with 90s music when he played his first Hootie & the Blowfish cassette until the tape broke.  Twenty years later his favorites still include Hootie, Matchbox 20, Ben Folds, Gin Blossoms, Third Eye Blind, and Barenaked Ladies. Nick's passions include ridiculously sweet tea, using his turn signal effectively, and awkwardly corny puns.  In his free time, he perfects his skills of singing the theme to Family Matters in the vocal stylings of Macy Gray.

Natalie Lacy

Vocals/Keys/Percussion/Kazoo
An Orange County, California native, Natalie "Nat" Lacy's favorite hometown band is No Doubt.  She brought the sounds of them across the country to the Carolinas by fronting her own No Doubt tribute band “Spiderwebs."  You can find Nat rocking out in her car enjoying her favorite Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains cassettes.  Nat enjoys thunderstorms and long walks on the beach; at the same time.
